Role Senior Specialist – Firmware Engineering Test
Experience 12 – 15 years
Role Expectations:Lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function using quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.
Responsibilities- Drive test designs from conception through system validation, including architecture requirements, functional specification, design, prototype, test bed bring up, Validation planning and verification.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Software, Hardware, Hardware Test & Firmware Test)
- Work closely with Test and Automation developers to define testing strategy, test plan and test specification, also carrying out manual testing as needed.
- Develop and execute Embedded system Firmware Test plans to ensure high-reliability in-field deployment.
- Ability to Design , develop framework, create custom components in Python.
- Ability to write, analyze and debug automated test cases on a well-known automation framework using Python
- Support product through pre- and post-production releases.

- Ability to identify test bed needs and provide clear requirements to appropriate stakeholders for design and fabrication.
- Work closely with R&D to define and implement product design verification, validation and characterization tests.
- Define and create/code the product verification test suite, including automation of diagnostic functions and functional test scripts.
- Oversee the fabrication of subsystem level functional test jigs and apparatus.
- Provide product verification test reports and failure analysis reports.
- Continuous update/improvement of test suites to address corner case scenarios.
- Ability to understand and differentiate automation frameworks, and choose better option for Firmware test automation.

ucation:Bachelor's in engineering in EEE/ECE/EIE/IC or other equivalent or higher Engineering degree.
Candidate Profile:- Minimum 6+ years Embedded and/or IoT system test experience.
- BE/BTECH and ME/MS preferred, with Electrical and/or Electronics Background.
- Experience in any scripting languages like Python, Perl, etc but open to be in involved in python development.
- Experience with embedded systems or testing complex systems comprised of hardware/software/firmware.
- Experience in validating the performance of wireless products (802.15.4, WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth low energy (BLE) networks etc) or equivalent product.
- Experience with Test automation of hardware devices including sensors and similar devices.
Candidate Profile:- Minimum 6+ years Embedded and/or IoT system test experience.
