Key Responsibilities
Reviewing Software Requirements and preparing Test Scenarios with Test Documentation (Strategy and Cases). ● Executing tests on Software Test Scenarios. ● Analyzing Test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability. ● Preparing reports on all aspects related to the Software Testing performed. ● Interacting with clients to understand Software Requirements. ● Participating in Software design reviews and providing input on Requirements and any potential problems. ● Orchestrate efforts with test leads in hardware, firmware, OS and application labs to optimize program-wide system testing costs. ● Use scripting to implement or run any software needed during a Test effort. ● Own and Utilize the automation test suites for all Test Scenarios. ● Export requirements, test plan, and test cases in JIRA. ● Good knowledge of applying various techniques to find the root cause of an issue. ● Good organizational & communication skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
Experience Requirement
● Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent required. ● Minimum of 3-7 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer supporting S/W architecture, development, requirements analysis, evaluation, design and process execution. ● Strong 3+ years experience in Testing Java, JavaScript & Python based applications both On-Premises and in AWS Cloud with various Design Patterns. ● Experience with Oracle OR PostgreSQL. ● Experience with Unix/Linux Scripting OR Windows Scripting AND SQL scripting. ● Participate in daily scrum meetings with the team.
