Job Description

Sr. QA Engineers are experienced professionals that develop software programs in order to test code and applications and have a passion for quality processes. They have in-depth knowledge and subject matter expertise in managing functional testing, automating client application and qualification of the client-side applications. Sr. QA Engineers interact with internal and external teams to train them on the products, work on projects independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and reproduce issues. In this role, you will mentor and guide others in the performance of all testing activities as well as encourage others to grow their skillset.


About The Role



In this role as Senior QA Engineer, you will:


  • Engages with cross functional teams to execute


  • Trains and mentors more junior colleagues


  • Influences and articulates compelling QA solutions for customers and product(s)


  • Explains difficult concepts and influences others to adopt a point of view for ideas and initiatives


  • Developing QA Engineer professional


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or Business-related degree preferred or equivalent experience


  • Should have 5+ experience in Software QA engineering and related activities with hands on experience in nonfunctional and functional automation testing.


About You


  • Skills : Mandatory: Performance Testing, JMeter/Load runner/Neo load [anyone]


  • Working with performance monitoring tools like Datadog/AppDynamics/Dynatrace/Kibana and creating dashboards


  • Experience in Functional Automation Testing – Selenium / UFT experience


  • Hands on experience with build and deployment tool and CI/CD pipeline Jenkins/Github actions/Azure pipeline/AWS pipeline


  • Test automation engineering experience with Selenium, Postman, Protractor/Cypress and Jmeter testing tools and should be proficient to handle the DOM elements with css/xpath, other attributes.


You are a fit for this position if your background includes:


  • At least 3 years of hands-on working experience in nonfunctional performance testing with any of JMeter/Load runner/Neo load.


  • experience working with performance monitoring tools like Datadog/AppDynamics/Dynatrace/Kibana and creating dashboards


  • Good hands-on experience working on Automation testing with any of the programming languages java/C#/Python/JavaScript.


  • Good at understanding the source code management using git/GitHub/ADO and proficient in the process of pulling and pushing the code.


  • Hands on experience with build and deployment tool and CI/CD pipeline Jenkins/Github actions/Azure pipeline/AWS pipeline


  • Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure architecture needed for performance testing pipeline and should understand the microservices architecture in cloud.


  • Test automation engineering experience with Selenium, Postman, Protractor/Cypress and Jmeter testing tools and should be proficient to handle the DOM elements with css/xpath, other attributes.


  • Experience testing Web Applications in cross-browser and cross-device using automated test tools


  • Experience working with Database using either SQL or NoSQL DBMS. [MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Dynamo]


  • Experience with developing both front-end and back-end automation tests


  • Understanding of security best practices for web development


  • Proficient in agile methodologies and practices.
