Senior Software Engineer - ( Python, Django, and/or Linux based systems) | 8-12 years

Meet the Team 

You will be part of a best-in-class Software Development team that works on various ground-breaking technologies in Routers connecting to Cloud applications. You will have the opportunity to work with pioneering networking technologies in the areas of SD-WAN Cloud-hosted solutions.

Your Impact 

• Design, develop, and implement high quality SRE applications and tools for Cisco SDWAN management layer.
• Collaborate with team members to determine the root cause of problems and the best course of action to resolve problems and avoid them in the future.
• Maintain cloud-hosted development, staging, and production environments and their monitoring and alerting systems.
• Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of current technologies.
• Apply modern, best practices in your designs and implementations.

You are motivated, driven, and a good teammate. You'll be willing to learn and be passionate about working on a wide range of product areas. You work well independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills are meaningful.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in software development including specification, implementation and testing.
• Prior Experience in Python, Django, and/or Linux based systems
• 8+ years experience in Python Programming; willingness to answer python coding questions.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud deployments
• Familiarity with various compliance - viz. PCI, ISO, SOC2, and FedRAMP
