Experian is seeking a talented Software Engineer who excels in a fast-paced Agile environment.


In this role, you will develop and maintain tools that streamline workflows, simplify processes, and enhance collaboration. You will collaborate closely with fellow developers, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, and play a pivotal role in designing and implementing tools and frameworks that focus on testing and delivering cloud-based software. Responsibilities:


Developing tools and frameworks that enhance the efficiency of software engineering processes • ownership of the CI/CD pipeline by implementing solutions that are easily adoptable by engineering teams.


Build highly scalable and reliable systems that enhance the developer experience in testing and deployment for our software


• Contribute to deliverables from ideation thru testing/validation and production operationalization


• Contribute to design/architecture and collaborate with other team members


• Consistently deliver and maintain accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date documentation. • Conduct research and development as needed to implement new technology solutions.



Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of software development experience building and testing applications with secure coding practices including some experience leading development efforts or contributing to architecture
  • Currently hands-on collaboration on a team developing significant commercial software project in cloud native Java
  • Proven proficiency developing in server-side Java and/or Netty applications using mainstream frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Reactor-Core.
  • Current cloud technology experience, preferably AWS (Kubernetes, Fargate, S3, MKS, Lambda, etc)
  • A current working understanding of microservices, event driven techniques, and data pipelines
  • A strong proven proficiency in SQL and NoSQL based data access and management • Familiarity with async messaging, logging or queues, such as Kafka, NATS, SQS, RabbitMQ.
  • Recent experience managing PII/secure/sensiive data
  • Demonstrable familiarity with CI/CD process, testing frameworks and practices (CodeCommit, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CLI, etc.)
  • Understanding of best design and software engineering practices, design principles and patterns and unit testing.
  • Experience in developing easily monitored at the system and business operations level • Comfortable in a dynamic environment, with ability and willingness to adapt to various technologies and simultaneously work on multiple projects
  • Adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly, demonstrating a continuous learning mindset.
