A Day in the LifeOur Global Diabetes Capability Center in Pune is expanding to serve more people living with diabetes globally. Our state-of-the-art facility is dedicated to transforming diabetes management through innovative solutions and technologies that reduce the burden of living with diabetes.
We are looking for a skilled User Experience (UX) Engineer to bridge the gap between design and development. As a UX Engineer, you will work closely with our engineering teams to design, prototype, and implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces, design and develop UI, UX, software solutions, and deploy them into production. You will be to ensure that our products are both functional and provide a seamless user experience.
You will work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions, contribute to the development of innovative data products and develop advanced analytical models and actionable insights that fuel our growth and optimize our operations.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:


  • Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into software solutions.


  • Design, develop, and implement UI, UX, full stack software solutions to solve complex business problems.


  • Use software design principles to develop production ready code.


  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in UI, UX, full stack software development.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions into existing systems and workflows.


  • Document and communicate software solutions, methodologies, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.


  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior software engineers – Full Stack UI UX developers.


  • Create prototypes and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts and ideas


  Required Knowledge and Experience:


  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.


  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer – Full Stack UI/UX, front-end development with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.


  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python.


  • Experience designing and building complex, highly available, large scale web applications. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, human-computer interaction, and usability.


  • Frontend development using python-based frameworks or HTML5, CSS3, JS & one or more JavaScript frameworks like NextJS, React, Angular or equivalent.


  • Excellent knowledge of server-side programming languages & frameworks like Node.js, Express.


  • Working experience with RESTful API usage and development: FastAPI, Flask.


  • Understanding of security best practices for web applications.


  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.


  • Strong understanding of TypeScript and the latest ECMAScript standards.


  • Experience with non-relational, NoSQL databases and various data-storage systems.


  • Experience with micro-services architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).


  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS).


  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.


  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment.


  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams located in different locations.
