What You will Do:

• Leads multiple project teams of other software systems engineers and internal development partners responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
• Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
• Provides Server Manageability domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization through patents, white papers, and presentations.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

What You will Bring:

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in embedded systems and firmware development.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Extensive experience with multiple software systems, design tools and languages including C/C++, Linux, and embedded systems
• Experience leading design, development, and maintenance of UEFI firmware with focus on board bring up activities
• Good to have BMC firmware development experience in Linux or OpenBMC based environment
• Hands on experience on one or more of the following device drivers and protocols -  I2C, I3C, SPI, USB, eMMC drivers,.
• Experience working on Server products, power and thermal management, and BMC-UEFI System firmware interactions.  
• Experience in the overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple Sever platform types into the overall architecture.
• Evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools such as the GTest framework.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and local language.
• Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
