You will be part of the Fusion Electronics Organisation within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions division. This team defines and builds the ECAD solution within the Fusion family of products. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer reporting to the Engineering Manager to deliver best ECAD/MCAD integration experience in the industry. This is a hybrid role, part of our Pune-based SCRUM team.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain features for Fusion based on requirements (our code base is mostly written in C++ and API development can be done with Python or C++)
Write technical design documents, participate in design and code reviews, develop estimates for tasks and document code
Work with an extended team of software developers, QAs and product designers and other worldwide engineering sites
Mentor junior engineers on the team and act as a technical lead in areas of your expertise
Have knowledge of software architecture tools and techniques
Code/Design Inspections/Audits for the team, and across other teams
Communication/ Documentation / Knowledge Sharing
Learn, Proactive and must expand the technical breadth and depth, and develop T-shaped skills
Be flexible, proactive and respond quickly to multiple priorities under changing conditions and Agile process environment
Working within large software systems
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years and above of software development experience
C++ programming expertise
Expertise in programming, debugging and problem-solving
Education: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related fields
Familiar with Design Patterns and Object-Oriented programming skills
Knowledge of advanced data structures, algorithms, and STL
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in CAD Desktop / Web application development
Familiar with Graphics framework, Cloud connected software design and development
Familiar with cross-platform application development and
Experience with API and SDK development
Experience with the Qt library, CMake, Bash Script, Python, React and Jenkins would be a bonus
