Position Overview



As a Sr. Software Engineer in the MFGDM team, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing key components of the MFGDM platform. Collaborating with teams across the globe, including the US, Canada, India, and China, you will work on building scalable, high-quality web applications and tools that drive Autodesk’s next-generation Design & Manufacturing Platform.


You will work in a hybrid environment from Pune, India, and report to the Engineering Manager


Responsibilities


  • Collaborate within a global MFGDM development group and work as part of a scrum team with 4-5 engineers
  • Contribute to customer/project requirements by working closely with team members
  • Design, implement, validate, and deploy MFGDM modules, components, and services
  • Collaborate with other scrum teams across geographies to ensure seamless integration
  • Develop tools to enhance service quality, including resiliency analysis, performance monitoring, and automated testing
  • Apply best engineering practices in daily work and actively participate in global technical discussions
  • Drive initiatives from start to finish and encourage innovation across the team
  • Take ownership of key projects and contribute to Autodesk’s data strategy

Minimum Qualifications


  • 5–8 years of experience in TypeScript and Node.js/JavaScript development
  • Proven experience in building scalable, high-quality web-based applications
  • Familiarity with major JS frameworks such as React.js or similar technologies
  • Strong fundamentals and hands-on project experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
  • Exposure to cloud project development is highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Java, or database technologies is a plus

  • Experience in handling end-to-end projects in a global, collaborative environment
