Job Summary:
Responsible for the analysis, definition, design, construction, testing, installation, modification, and maintenance of properly engineered information systems, containing software as the major component to meet agreed business needs.
Responsibilities:
The individual filling this position is responsible for the analysis, design, and development of production software systems for the use of Content Analysts.
The person filling this position is expected to develop code based on the requirements provided by Senior Software engineer / Technical leader
Work closely with QA team on the developed modules
Maintains existing systems
Programming related decisions are to be regularly made
Works in several phases of software systems analysis and programming activities, but may require instruction and guidance in other phases
Participate in daily stand ups and provide updates as needed
Required Skills:
Software development – 3 to 6 years of .NET development
Excellent knowledge of C#, .NET Framework 4.0, .Net Core, MVC
Expertise in WCF, Windows Services, Web Services , Web APIs, REST services
Extensive experience and understanding of OOPs, HTML, Bootstrap, JS, JQuery, Typescript, Angular v8+.
Familiarity with Oracle / MS - SQL server, PL / SQL
Experience with IIS
Expert practitioner of agile methodologies, JIRA and clean code programming.
A good working knowledge of git (via Gitlab), source code control and branching/merging practices
Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of accepted software engineering methods such as object-oriented programming, structured programming, reusable software, life-cycle development and software development process methodologies
Strong Coding standards and good debugging & trouble shooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have the ability to run with projects/issues solo as well as work in a team environment
Strong issue resolution skills. Strong data analysis skills and ability to solve complex problems independently and to generate innovative solutions
