Digitization poses major challenges for many companies and will change processes immensely in the coming years. This is also the case at Siemens Mobility GmbH – as a Senior Software Developer (f/m/d), you will actively help shape and accompany a Siemens Teamcenter transformation project. The project works according to the SAFe methodology and strives to replace the current SAP PLM system with a modern Teamcenter system for approximately 15000 users.
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer - Teamcenter Interfaces
You’ll make a difference by:
- You are a Senior Software Developer in the Siemens Teamcenter transformation and member of its System Architects team. As that you are responsible for the overarching solution and define key architectural decisions.
- You will analyze the business requirements and the existing IT landscape (SAP and other systems) and translate this into a solution design for Teamcenter to ensure optimal integration and the replacement's completeness.
- You will design, implement and optimize complex Teamcenter solutions/modules and suitable architectures for the Siemens Mobility Business.
- You will be responsible for defining and integrating Teamcenter solutions, including interface design to ERP and legacy systems, into the company's ecosystem.
- You are part of the team that will maintain and control rules and guidelines for the implementation process in the project. That includes its change and release process, software selection criteria, customization guidelines and documentation rules.
- You will be responsible for the overarching architecture of the system beyond the project period. This includes maintaining the solution in the running service, e.g., by solving errors and optimizing the system with change requests
- As a member of an agile, international team (SAFe methodology), you will work closely with the business owners, product owners, the supplier's implementation experts and other experts in the team as well as across teams.
You’ll win us over by:
- You have a degree (Master's/Diploma) in computer science, business informatics or a similar field of study.
- 4-8 years of in-depth experience in the field of Teamcenter design & development, as well as configuration/customizing, with a distributed system environment and integration of major software tools.
- You have experience in various Teamcenter interface solutions (e.g., Teamcenter Active Integration Gateway, SAP connection with T4S/T4ST)
- Knowledge of PLM-SI for Integration for S4/Hana Integration with Teamcenter
- Special experience in Document Management or the collaboration solution Supplier Connect would be a plus.
- You also have experience in the implementation of major projects and change requests, including the associated controlling and administration.
- Good knowledge of product development processes in the manufacturing industry is a must.
- SAP PLM knowledge is desirable
- Knowledge of SnapLogic is beneficial
- Ideally, you also have experience in working in agile project teams
- You have a structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working and experience in global teams and, ideally, in the technical leadership/management of employees.
- Extraordinarily good English skills required due to the global orientation of the role, with German language skills being an additional advantage.
- Highly self-motivated.
- Ability to lead change.
