Digitization poses major challenges for many companies and will change processes immensely in the coming years. This is also the case at Siemens Mobility GmbH – as a Senior Software Developer (f/m/d), you will actively help shape and accompany a Siemens Teamcenter transformation project. The project works according to the SAFe methodology and aims to replace the current SAP PLM system with a modern Teamcenter system for approximately 15 000 users.


We are looking for a Senior Software Developer – Teamcenter CI/CD


You’ll make a difference by:


  • You will join an international and agile team in the Siemens Teamcenter transformation project, focusing on Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Your primary responsibility will be the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust CI/CD pipeline to facilitate automated and efficient deployment of Teamcenter 14.3 and newer versions.
  • You will collaborate closely with internal and external partners, including agile teams, product owners, and implementation experts, to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery across various Teamcenter modules, such as NX, MS Office, and OSLC.
  • You will use tools such as Jenkins, GIT and Teamcenter Deployment Center to streamline deployment processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all deployments.
  • Your role will involve configuring and managing the deployment environment, monitoring daily automated deployments, and resolving any deployment-related issues.
  • You will also be responsible for continuously optimizing the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring it meets evolving business and technical requirements.
  • Document CI/CD processes, configurations, and standard methodologies for internal and external partners.
  • As a member of an agile, international team (SAFe methodology), you will work closely with the product owner, the supplier's implementation experts and other experts in the team as well as across teams.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the CI/CD pipeline, including monitoring performance and implementing changes as needed.

You’ll win us over by:


  • You have a degree (Master's/Diploma) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps methodologies, with a strong focus on automated deployments.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Jenkins, GIT is essential.
  • Knowledge of python scripting is essential
  • Experience with Teamcenter 14.3 and Deployment Center 14.3 or newer is highly desirable.
  • You have a solid understanding of software development processes, particularly in environments that integrate multiple Teamcenter modules like NX, MS Office, and OSLC.
  • Deeper knowledge of administrating distributed systems
  • Experience working in agile project teams and collaborating with diverse internal and external partners is advantageous.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills, with a structured and independent approach to work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are important, with the ability to work effectively in an international, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Very good English skills are required due to the global orientation of the role, with German language skills being an additional advantage.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Ability to lead change.
