LSEG are building industry leading in house software to create application owner facing software, network sources of truth and topology logic and back end automation to the network devices!This is an excellent opportunity for a Cisco NSO Developer/Cisco Network Automation Engineer to join a large, instantly recognisable brand working as part of an ongoing programme of work to refresh our WAN and to work on the long term automation BaU change and further automation projectsRole & Team Key Responsibilities:You will be part of a large centralised network automation team who leads the network automation strategy and builds network automation. This is a critical part of a larger network engineering team whose top goal is automate all provisioning, tooling and change on the network.This role will be passionate about automating the Cisco WAN using NSO and in house tooling. There is plenty of opportunity to get involved with other automation projects using other tooling!Required Skills:The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NSO, Orchestration, Network/WAN Design, modelling and network protocols.Developing network automation solutions using NSO. Development of Service PackagesDevelop and Design new, innovative software products, applications.Technologies: Python, NSO, Yang, GitHub.Also helpful:Full stack Java developer experience,Expertise with XML, JSON, XSLT, RESTful APIAnsibleThe candidate should have prior experience of delivering on complex and highly scalable software projects.The candidate should have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work optimally across internal and external organizations.LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
