The position 
As a Senior Service Manager I at Novo Nordisk, you will:


  • Oversee daily operations of the KaaS platform, ensuring service availability and reliability.
  • Maintain platform compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and data privacy standards.
  • Monitor platform performance metrics to optimize resource utilization and manage operational costs effectively.
  • Facilitate seamless onboarding and integration of new applications onto the platform.
  • Track expenses, oversee budget planning, and manage vendor engagement with HCL for platform support.
  • Establish and maintain level 2 and level 3 support processes for smooth platform operations.
  • Contribute to the platform strategy and roadmap, aligning with business goals and driving future enhancements.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field with 10+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Agile methodology, coupled with a proactive mindset to drive task completion, and expertise in service management / service manager.
  • Must have experience in managing diverse stakeholder relationships, budget management, and fostering effective collaboration across teams.
  • Proficient in ensuring adherence to regulations, standards, and policies while promoting a culture of ethics and compliance.
  • Basic understanding of integrations and event-driven integration concepts, with prior experience in Confluent Kafka being a plus, or a willingness to learn and work with the Kafka platform.
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps concepts and practices to support operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

The Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) department at Novo Nordisk is a team of over 1000 highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. DD&IT GBS India is responsible for managing IT systems, projects, infrastructure, compliance, security, processes, and vendors. As part of DD&IT GBS, the SAP Development & Integration CoE department manages the development, support, and maintenance of SAP platforms, MuleSoft, Kafka, and other technologies for all regions in Novo Nordisk.
