Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 7 years of experience
  • Expert-Access and Expert-Data certified in Lenel OnGuard or equivalent experience
  • Proficient and certified in Milestone/Genetec applications
  • Good understanding of Microsoft SQL and familiarity with the database structure of Lenel OnGuard, Milestone, and Genetec
  • Experience with Microsoft Clustered environments for high availability and disaster recovery applications
  • Understanding of the HID Origo Platform & Mobile Access Environments
  • Understanding of HID Reader Manager, Credential & Encryption Technologies (Seos Elite, OSDPv2 Secure Channel)
  • Understanding of Snowflake, PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, and other Data Visualization tools
  • Understanding of OIDC/SAML authentication protocol
  • Good understanding of networking principles and protocols
  • Windows Server Management and Maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with Cloud Environments such as AWS/Azure
  • Understanding of potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with network-connected devices
  • Familiarity with Code repositories, API Integration for example tools like Github and Swagger

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You’ll be a member of premises security and engineering team based in our Gurgaon, India office which is part of our Technology & Digital Engineering function. This team manages the global physical security system infrastructure, including but not limited to access control, CCTV, etc., across all McKinsey offices. You will work closely with our leadership, various technology teams across Technology & Digital, as well as third party IT vendors.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will be a key member of premises security and engineering team which manages the physical security system infrastructure, including but not limited to access control, CCTV, etc., across all McKinsey offices.  
This is a global role and the position is responsible for working directly with various internal and external teams, including engineers, developers, security vendors, project managers, and all other stakeholders to ensure accurately and timely delivery of services across a wide array of initiatives.
The senior security engineer is expected to:
  • act as the technical lead for the premises security engineering team and provide solution architecture, design, and support for High Availability for enhanced “up-time” of systems;
  • should be able to take ownership and lead the development of various initiatives from initiation to completion;
  • support the operations team for security systems-related issues and foster internal tech capability;
  • support the successful delivery of global security fit-out projects;
  • should have good understanding of Agile methodologies and able to pick up challenging stories in each sprint to support the product vision;
  • have positive approach to learning, working on new challenging technologies, and building meaningful products for our stakeholders.
