JOB DESCRIPTION:
Opportunity
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Sr. Security Engineering Engineer. This individual will be part of the people, processes and technologies involved in aiding the Global Security program’s efforts to further the company’s strategic positioning with regards to Information Security. This role is responsible for planning, managing, monitoring, and upgrading a broad spectrum of security technical tools. This individual will be responsible to work with cross functional teams and subject matter experts to ensure the successful delivery of projects and security services.
What you will do
Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring the Commvault security infrastructure including but not limited to endpoint detect/response (EDR), vulnerability scanners, email protection, WAF, proxy, network, firewall, and cloud centric solutions.
Collaborating with security and compliance teams to facilitate their objectives and deliverables.
Collaborating with business, development, and information technology teams.
Mentoring of team members, supporting their growth and expand their knowledge.
Participate in vendor management and delivery of their services.
Ensure transparency and visibility of security technical stack effectiveness through metrics, reporting, and communication with management and stakeholders.
Continuous learning of security threat landscape and processes to protect the enterprise.
Who you are
Should have a graduate degree.
5+ years in Security Infrastructure.
5+ years Researching, implementing, and maintaining enterprise level on-prem / cloud-based security solutions.
Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and mentor team members to reach their highest potential.
Track record of resolving impediments that exist outside of the team environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to concisely express highly technical concepts to non-technical business partners.
Strong influencing skills to achieve alignment up, down and across the organization.
CISM, CISA, CISSP, GIAC or equivalent certifications a plus
Travel up to 10%
Security & SaaS Experience strongly preferred.
