As a Software Engineer (SAP Engineer to Order – ETO) and member of an Agile Capability Team, you will have the opportunity design, develop, configure, test, and implement ETO changes or enhancements in CRM/ECC SAP based on requirements/projects from the various ETO business. You will support all ETO applications and interfaces and understand the end-to-end ETO process used by Rockwell Automation Business Units. You will make sure there is consistency of the ETO process by all Rockwell Automation Business Units that use ETO. This role will also help with production issues encountered by the ETO business to resolve them on a timely basis. Has expertise in SAP ECC and CRM.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Designs, configure, test, and implement ETO changes or enhancements in CRM/ECC SAP codes and tests new ETO BU solutions.
  • Support current ETO applications, interfaces and WRICEFS.
  • Supports cross-functional teams and development as related to end-to-end ETO process.
  • Support new business requiring ETO process.
  • Working with ETO business personnel to identify business needs within CRM/ECC
  • Assists in the support and enhancement of applications
  • Collaborates with business systems analysts and product owners to define requirements and priorities.
  • Helps to create a culture of openness, honesty, and transparency
  • Collaborates with capability team to build an agile culture in teams Coordinates with business stakeholders to understand and document business and functional requirements related to the end-user experience
  • Understands user needs based on business and functional requirements, user research, market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings
  • Identify design problems and devise usable solutions
  • Builds strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization
  • Participates in the design and implementation of user research and usability testing to better understand end-user needs
  • Ensures that third-party applications and products are customized to deliver a consistent end-user experience

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Experience in CRM and ECC SAP with configuration of CRM, SD, Manufacturing, Logistics, Purchasing
  • Experience in ABAP Development will be considered as an advantage.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and system/process documentation
  • Experience with design, development, testing and implementation of WRICEFs
  • Knowledge of SAP cost accounting
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business requirements.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities
  • Basic knowledge and experience of one or more SAP CRM and ECC modules

Preferred Qualifications :


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical discipline
  • Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
  • Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies
