Copado DevOps Platform & Source Control - Actively manage and configure our Copado platform to ensure it is operational and meets our needs. You’ll identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices to ensure robust and redundant systems.
Security Collaboration: Work closely with Application Security and the Salesforce Development teams to develop comprehensive security practices that safeguard our data and code right from the start of the development process.
Empowerment through Automation: Evaluate and refine our tools and processes to enable our teams to be self-sufficient, fostering flexibility and continuity across all environments.
Innovative Solutions: Engage in collaborative problem-solving to meet technical challenges, roadmap future solutions, and continuously raise the bar for Salesforce operational excellence.
Team Success: Work closely with the development team to facilitate the promotion of code changes, using Copado's capabilities to automate and streamline processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective DevOps solutions within Copado.
DevOps Tooling - CI/CD: Hands-on experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using tools like Copado, Gearset, Flosum, or Autorabit.
Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git and understanding of branching and merging strategies.
Environment Management: Experience managing multiple Salesforce environments and sandboxes, including data seeding and data masking.
Release Management: Proven track record of managing Salesforce releases, including metadata and data migrations.
Salesforce Development: Extensive experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
Scripting: Strong Apex scripting skills to automate manual tasks as part of the DevOps pipeline.
Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments and participating in Agile ceremonies.
API Integration: Experience with integrating Salesforce with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Security Best Practices: Understanding of Salesforce security best practices and implementation.
Preferred Certifications: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Copado Fundamentals I – MFP, Copado Fundamentals II – MFP.
Soft Skills: Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, high attention to detail and accuracy, and adaptability to change.
An engineering graduate with computer science or information technology background.
Requires 8+ years of total experience.
6+ years of increasing practical experience with Salesforce and Copado DevOps Platform (Must have).
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
