QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- 5-6 years of total IT experience with at least 5+ years of Salesforce project development experience
- Required certifications both Platform Developer 1 and Platform Developer 2
- Hands on development experience using Salesforce configuration and customizations using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Lightning components, Scheduled and Batch classes, etc
- 5+ years of experience with SFDC configuration and custom development within Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or equivalent Salesforce Cloud technologies
- 2+ years of experience architecting and/or engineering Cloud solutions
- Ability to migrate Salesforce classic features to Lightning experience, including converting Visualforce pages to lightning components and / or using Lightning Design System with Visualforce pages
- Knowledge of Product Development Lifecycle and DevOps Tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc
- Ability to work collaboratively in a creative, Agile environment and manage agile task assignments
- Ability to understand and convert business requirements into solution designs
- Experience integrating Salesforce into other platforms such as Middleware and ETL tools

You will equip McKinsey’s business thought leaders with the tools and knowledge necessary for their global client engagements. Your development teams are small and flexible, utilizing agile methodologies to swiftly deliver the required solutions to your user community. You will be involed in integrating the latest open-source technologies with traditional Enterprise software products.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Your role will be pivotal in leading and producing the technical specifications and systems integration requirements for our internal Salesforce environment.
You will develop comprehensive Salesforce solutions through both configuration and customization, ensuring seamless operations. Your expertise in SFDC administrative tasks—such as creating profiles, roles, user security models, page layouts, email services, reports, dashboards, tasks, and events—will enhance our system's efficiency and security. Your proficiency with Lightning Components, Design System, APEX Classes, Process Builder, Triggers, Visualforce, Approval Processes, Aura, and Flow will drive innovative solutions and improve user experience. Your expert knowledge of object-oriented programming will ensure robust and maintainable code.
Your familiarity with database concepts and the use of SOQL and SOSL will enable efficient data management and retrieval. Your experience with Salesforce APIs and web services (REST/SOAP/Bulk) will facilitate seamless integration with other systems. Your skills in environment management, release management, code versioning, deployment methodologies, and CI/CD tools—especially GitHub Actions—will streamline our development processes and improve deployment efficiency.
Your leadership in structured team development projects will foster collaboration and drive successful project outcomes. Your strong communication skills will ensure effective interaction with both technical and non-technical clients, improving overall project clarity and satisfaction. Your ability to select, adapt, and effectively use various programming methods while practicing Agile software development methodologies will enhance project flexibility and responsiveness. Your capacity to recognize and recommend necessary changes in user and operations procedures, including participating in code reviews, will ensure continuous improvement and adherence to best practices. You will perform data updates and migrations using Data Loader and similar tools, ensuring data integrity and smooth transitions. Additionally, you will assist in writing technical approach and design documentation as required, providing clear guidelines and enhancing project documentation.
