Description of main tasks:
The Incumbent is responsible for the following tasks:
To generate & grow business of Chandigarh region to achieve targeted sales & profitability.
To set up & manage distribution network and support on regular basis.
Sales & Revenue
- To implement plans to generate leads for achieving Net Sales & operating Margin targets of Chandigarh and Up North [Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh (UT)
Forecasting
- Sales Forecasting and liaising with CSD to ensure smooth order servicing for Chandigarh.
Business Development in Region
- Support Regional Manager & National Manager - regular follow up and contacts for repeat direct customers / contractors and identifying new applications to grow all segments in Chandigarh & Up north Region
Distributor Management
- To implement plans for monitoring/expanding the dealer/distributor network with a special eye on achieving revenue/collection targets
- To Manage and motivate network of distributors across the area to ensure effective coverage, distribution and visibility in the territory
Cost Management
- To manage Price developments & deductions like Customer Bonuses, Commission & Customer Freight
Cash/Receivables Management
- To implement plans for timely collection of payments and ensures that receivables are within specified targets
Competitor Information
- Monitoring of competitor's activities.
Collection of Statutory forms
- To ensure with the help of distributors, the collection of due/overdue payments and statutory forms from the market.
Sales & Revenue
- To implement plans to generate leads for achieving Net Sales & operating Margin targets in Punjab, HP.
- Support negotiation with Partners, customers and close project sales as and when required.
- Provide Product selection and support through usage of software tools and application know how assistance consultants, channel partners.
Job Specifications
Professional Education
- Graduate in any field, or Diploma Engineer with PGDBM.
Professional Experience (how long)?
In which areas?
- Sales & Marketing in HVAC/Building Material Industry
- Must have good experience with dealing with HVAC Consultants in the region
- Must have good experience of Channel Management
