Position Summary

Purpose


To provide Reliability and Maintenance Systems support in accordance with governing documents, quality and norms of both client and company. Develop maintenance routines for Onshore and Offshore Oil and gas installations and manage activities in client Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)






Duties & Responsibilities

Functions


ESSENTIAL


§Carry out development & implementation of specific maintenance concepts, programs, and strategies for Onshore and Offshore oil and gas installations using RCM/FMEA analysis


§Conduct criticality assessment and develop equipment strategies/maintenance plans for electrical systems taking into consideration Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessment, industry standards, regulatory requirement, and manufacturer recommendations


§Lead the efforts for Root Cause Failure Analysis, Risk assessments, HAZOP, Other risk studies


§Carry out specialized reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) analysis for projects and translate the results into specific requirements and improvement actions for the overall system


§Read & interpret single line diagrams, breaker control schematics, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Cause and Effect Charts


§Assist with effective input and management of data within CMMS as per client’s requirement


§Assist with spare parts evaluation and CMMS optimization


§Assist the Line Manager to achieve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) deliverables and overall management of the service


§Support the Line Manager in management of Oceaneering contract providing assurance on technical delivery and cost management

Qualifications

Qualifications


REQUIRED


§Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (e.g. Electrical or Instrumentation & control Engineering)


§Minimum 6 years of oil and gas / Petrochemical / Refinery field experience


DESIRED


§Certified reliability professional (CMRP, CRE etc.)


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics


§Minimum 10 years of broad work experience as an electrical engineer in Oil & gas, refining, petrochemical industry or in a consulting role in a reputable organization


§Plant level experience and understanding of electrical one-lines, breaker control schematics, motor control schematics, and Industry Standards (NEC, NFPA, API etc.)


§Experience with predictive technologies (Partial Discharge, tan-delta testing, MCSA, Vibration Analysis, infrared, ultrasound, machinery lubrication)


§Experience with HT & LT Induction Motors, HT & LT Switch boards, Power-Distribution transformers and associated Electrical Automation systems (ABB, Siemens, Schneider etc.)


§Hands on experience in commissioning and maintenance of UPS, Batteries, Battery chargers and small VFD panels


(Up to 90kW).


§Proficient in data collection and analysis with common database and software data analysis tools such as SAP, Analytics for Excel, and Tableau


§Strong verbal and written communication skills in English


§Familiarity with QA/QC systems/procedures and CMMS Systems


§Ability to generate a team approach to problem solving and a good communicator, both written and verbal


§Good client or support contractor relationship skills at various levels of seniority or diverse cultures
