Senior Quantitative Developer - Lead


JOB DESCRIPTION


We are looking for a Senior Quantitative Developer Lead with 10~12+ years of IT experience who will play a key role in Market Research Risk Model Development, Data Analysis, Research model/product development on multi-Asset. Strong working knowledge of financial and statistical concepts including modern portfolio theory and asset pricing theory. Strong quantitative background, ideally with application in Finance domain. 4~5 year experience in buy-side or sell-side research is desirable.


Must Have Skills:


  • Strong computer programming skill is essential, preferably with experience in MATLAB, Python, R, SQL and PL/SQL. Experience working with large datasets is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial and statistical concepts including modern portfolio theory and asset pricing theory.
  • Must have MLOps and Quantitative Mathematical Model Development experience using multi-Asset data.
  • 4~5 year experience in buy-side or sell-side research is desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strict attention to detail.
  • The individual will be involved in a variety of tasks, including development and maintenance of research products, client advisory engagements, publications of research reports and papers. Strong mathematical and quantitative skills is a must have.
  • Experience in quantitative financial research and market data analysis familiarity with vendors pricing and fundamentals dataset. Market Data Providers(Vendors) like MSCI, FACTSET, BLOOMBERG, REFINITIVE, MARKIT, INTERATIVE DATA, etc.
  • A desire to develop creative and innovative solutions is highly recommended.
  • Develop and maintain portfolio construction engine for strategic and tactical asset allocation activities.
  • Create end to end infrastructure for data gathering, data cleaning, signal generation & portfolio implementation for the strategies.
  • Participate in series of associated projects focused on advanced volatility forecasting techniques
  • Over the time, role may expand to cover other multi-asset investments models research.
  • Excellent interpersonal, Strong Written and Oral communication, presentation skills
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS


  • ML/AI based mathematical Model Development/implementation in Cloud AWS/Databricks. Building CI/CD pipelines and integration of AWS with Github
  • AUTOSYS, AIRFLOW, CICD, JIRA, Creating data pipelines using Databricks.

QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required in a quantitative field such as finance, econometrics, mathematics, Science/engineering or similar fields. Quantitative research experiences in those fields are desirable.
