Overall Responsibilities:
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for the functional and regression testing of our Gateway Services products. You will work independently while collaborating with senior management and technical teams globally to ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications. Your role will encompass developing and executing comprehensive test strategies and plans for multiple projects of moderate complexity.
Technical Skills:
- Testing Methodologies: Strong knowledge of functional, regression, application, network, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Test Planning: Proven experience in developing and executing formal test plans and leading test planning and quality review sessions.
- Test Case Development: Proficient in overseeing the writing of test cases/scripts and ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Automation Testing: Experience in monitoring and executing automation test activities, including planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging, and reporting.
- Tools & Technologies: Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks, along with the ability to research and implement new tools and testing approaches.
- Documentation: Strong skills in documenting testing processes, results, and defect reports for internal and external communication.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on testing Gateway Services or similar products.
- Proven track record of working with multiple programs/systems on projects of moderate complexity.
- Experience collaborating with technical and business groups to define testing scope and requirements.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure quality delivery of software applications.
- Lead and participate in test planning and quality review sessions.
- Oversee the writing of test cases/scripts and ensure they are executed thoroughly.
- Participate in daily calls and hands-on testing as needed.
- Conduct planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging, and reporting tasks for testing activities.
- Monitor and execute automation testing activities for large projects.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to define the scope of testing required.
- Research new tools and testing methodologies and oversee their implementation.
- Handle post-test execution activities, including error debugging, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance or Software Testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey testing results and collaborate with teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
