Senior QA Engineer - Assistant Manager

Who we are looking for:

The Senior QA Engineer position is an integral part of the Research & Engineering team at Mercatus. The primary goal of the Senior QA engineer is to set up the performance benchmark for Mercatus Application by utilizing different performance testing tools. Senior QA Engineer will participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions, gather requirements, and deliver complete matrix/report specific to performance. This person will have to collaborate with various departments within the organization to enhance product performance. 

What you will be responsible for 

As Senior QA Engineer you will 

• Performance Testing: 

• Development of Performance testing framework and scripts.  
• Configure Test environment with relevant data for the performance tests 
• Perform regular performance Ability to utilize different performance testing tools (Ex. JMeter/ LoadRunner) 
• Monitor the application in client and server perspective and report findings or suggestions to improve the product performance. 
• Must collaborate with different departments to gather data specific to product performance. 

• API Testing: 

• Develop API testing framework. 
• Develop API test suites.  

What we value  

• Should have 6 to 8 years in Performance Engineering/Testing  
• Good to have knowledge of the Functional Automation Testing with Tools (Such as Selenium, Rest Assured, Cucumber, Gauge etc.) 
• Should have knowledge on performance concepts load/soak/scalability/stress testing. 
• Should have Experience with API level performance testing and UI performance. 
• Experience in planning, estimating, designing, executing and analyzing performance tests. 
• Should have hands-on experience with performance testing tools (such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Locust etc.)  
• Should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining performance scripts. 
• Could develop API testing framework required for data creation in performance. 
• Ability to work Independent and collaborate with different teams. 
• Experience in diagnosing performance issues bottlenecks.
