The Position

Full Stack QA Tester


Testing software is great, but testing software with a purpose is even better! As a Full Stack QA Engineer, you’ll work on a product that helps people with the most precious thing they have — their health. In collaborative teams of developers, designers, product owners, and QA experts, you’ll experience best-in-class software development practices daily and contribute to software that meets the highest expectations — we do not put our users' lives at risk!


Here’s what we’re looking for:


We are looking for an experienced Full Stack QA Engineer to help us build up our capabilities for internal testing and tooling. As an experienced and entrepreneurial QA Tester, you will support our efforts to make diabetes suck less. You will primarily be working in a global set-up with teams in India, Austria, and Spain. Your area of expertise should span from back/front-end technologies and mobile applications. You will test applications that are fully integrated into a CI/CD pipeline and are based on the latest Java/React/Nativ.


Your upcoming mission:


  • Use problem-solving and analytical skills to identify, isolate, and reproduce software defects.
  • Work closely with all areas in the company to understand needs and provide innovative testing strategies
  • Test and work with a powerful front/backend that stores our user data
  • Help us make our tech processes more efficient, secure, and reliable
  • Utilize and help improve our testing strategy and methods
  • Drive towards testing excellence, measuring against key performance indicators that you help to establish, maintain, and work to improve the speed, predictability, quality, and flexibility of software testing

Essential skills for your mission:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in software QA test teams, including proactive collaboration with Agile delivery and global operational teammates
  • Hands-on software test design, manual/automated test development and execution, improvement of existing and creation of new test frameworks, thorough and timely creation and delivery of test documentation, and active collaboration with Agile delivery and operational teammates.
  • Proficiency with tools like Slack/JIRA/Confluence/ and platforms like GitHub
  • Experience implementing and executing automated test scripting using TestNG, Selenium, etc…
  • Knowledge of Performance Testing using tools like JMeter, Postman, Katalon, etc…
  • Professional Working Proficiency in English
     

Bonus skills:


  • Familiarity with hosting services like AWS
  • Experience in a tech startup culture
  • Knowledge of SQL Queries, and API and Database testing
  • Understanding of medical, security, and privacy regulations
  • ISTQB, CASTP, etc… Certification
  • Understanding of quality assurance and testing processes using SAFe Agile
