Job Description

Introduction
We are looking for a QA developer for Java/J2EE, Golang based microservices to join a global team building one of IBM’s leading security solutions. As a member of the team you will be working in a fast paced and rewarding environment.
You will apply software engineering principles to operations in order to develop and support highly scalable, reliable and resilient systems. Your primary focus will be writing new test automation and enhancements to existing test suites to maintain high quality and high performance SaaS solutions. You will also collaborate with global development teams, support them with operational insights.

Your Role and Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the successful candidate will include (but not limited to):
  • Test automation of microservices using Java/JEE/scripting technologies
  • Maintain the health & hygiene of the microservices
  • contribute in API architecture (test driven development) discussions
  • ensure seamless delivery of the microservices to the prod environment.
  • contribute in customer requirement analysis.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise


  • 7-8 years of experience in SaaS quality assurance.
  • Strong test automation skills using tools: Selenium, Cucumber, ReST Assured
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience on Java, Shell Scripting and Groovy
  • Hands-on-experience in Cloud architecture, Micro Services; OCP, AWS, Docker, K8
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Understanding of Linux/ Windows, LDAP, AD and networking
  • Working knowledge of tools like Git, Jira, Eclipse, Jenkins

Nice to have:


  • Domain knowledge of Identity and Access Management would be an added advantage.
