Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. The Senior Project Manager will define, scope, initiate and manage large departmental projects with moderate to high risk while supporting business and program management staff.


About the Role:


In this role as a Senior Project Manager, you will:


  • Provide hands on project management for large projects and programs to ensure successful delivery within time, budget and scope.


  • Lead multiple concurrent medium/large projects or one large program.


  • Consistently manage multiple cross functional teams of senior professionals to achieve strategic objectives through flawless execution of day-to-day operations while simultaneously planning for future opportunities and challenges.


  • Apply thorough knowledge of business processes, procedures and systems to develop creative solutions to complex problems.


  • Work effectively in a matrix environment, partnering with internal clients, subcontractors and vendors.


  • Maintain appropriate professional image at all times.


  • Develop relationships internally and externally and act as a role model for ethical behavior.


  • Understands how their team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.


  • Ensures their team makes effective use of resources including people, equipment, materials and information technology.


About You:


You’re a fit for the role of Senior Project Manager if your background includes:


  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.


  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a project management role.


  • The role requires the candidate to work in 12 pm - 9 pm IST and also to be flexible.


  • Expertise includes but not limited to waterfall project management methodologies, agile practices, change management processes, risk assessment frameworks, resource allocation strategies, project scope development tools, financial management techniques, quality control measures, and team building exercises.


  • Implements medium to long term plans by establishing specific goals and timelines; monitors progress towards achievement of those goals.


  • Experience working with virtual / remote teams would be ideal.


  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are essential together with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across functions.


  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills are required along with excellent attention to detail.


  • A self-starter who has the initiative to plan, organize and prioritize activities throughout the life cycle of the project.


  • Ability to manage resource allocation, budgeting and scheduling.


  • Ability to maintain consistent levels of enthusiasm, energy and focus during periods of change and uncertainty.


  • Highly organized individual capable of multi-tasking without compromising quality.


  • PMP or similar project management certification would be good to have.


  • Experience working with Agile Methodology preferred.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
