Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of technology solutions outside specific technology domains (e.g., mobile, Node.js, open source). This role emphasizes ensuring the quality and performance of these solutions, managing projects, and providing expert technical support to users.


Software Requirements
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of technology solutions, ensuring they meet required quality and performance standards.
  • Utilize various programming languages and tools to design, develop, and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
Overall Responsibilities
  • Technology Development:Lead the development and implementation of technology solutions based on business needs.
  • Project Management:Plan, execute, and deliver technology development projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Technical Support:Provide ongoing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues and quickly resolving problems.
  • Problem Resolution:Guide the resolution of complex technical issues in collaboration with team members and vendors as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance:Implement rigorous testing and review processes for technology solutions, making necessary adjustments to meet established quality standards.
  • Technology Planning:Research, plan, and implement new technologies to meet evolving business objectives.
Technical Skills

Core Skills


  • Proficiency in at least one technology platform or programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile production support environments.

Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing technology development projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.


Troubleshooting & Support : Knowledge of technical troubleshooting methodologies and tools to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.


Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years in the IT industry, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in technology development, maintenance, and Agile production support.
  • Proven track record of overseeing technology solutions and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Day-to-Day Activities
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings to assess project status and troubleshoot technical challenges.
  • Implement best practices to ensure effective collaboration within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Review project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct regular tests and quality assurance reviews on technology solutions.
  • Interact with users to gather feedback, resolve issues, and enhance user experience with technology solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations and solve problems proactively.
