We are looking for a seasoned program manager who can help us build and scale new monetization opportunities for the business. We are looking for a leader who is customer-obsessed, highly analytical and has experience launching zero-to-one initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate with a strong business and marketing background, who wants to work in a start-up like environment and is passionate about digital media and new customer experiences. He/She will work in a highly collaborative environment with some of the best marketers, product and program managers, and be part of a rapidly growing initiative which is going to become a huge area of growth for the business. This job will require strong inter-personal skills while having the ability to work independently in a high pressure, and often ambiguous, work environment.
Key job responsibilities
• Own and manage the business planning for a new, high-growth initiative for the business
• Create customer-backwards value proposition and pricing strategy through user research and competitive analysis
• Manage the customer lifecycle, and drive new user acquisition/user retention to drive growth for the business
• Define the program vision and key metrics for success, implement tracking mechanisms and own the cadence for leadership reviews and feedback
• Act as the voice of customer and influence product roadmap by providing insights and feedback from stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, operations, finance, legal and others to drive alignments and scale the initiative
• Define strategy for geographic expansion and meet regional accounting and taxation requirements.
- 7+ years of program management/product management/marketing management experience
- Post-graduate degree in a business-related field in a Tier I college/university
- Superior analytical skills, demonstrated ability to acquire/interpret data and make business recommendations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, should be able to present to and align leaders/stakeholders
- Past experience in launching and scaling new initiatives from grounds-up
- Past experience in driving high-impact programs with a defined customer-facing value proposition and pricing
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working in a video streaming or related consumer business
