Title and Summary
Senior Product Manager - TechnicalAs part of the Clearing Solutions organization, the Global Clearing Management System (GCMS) performs the clearing function for Mastercard. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the day to day activities required for the support and deployment of software for GCMS. Our primary goal is to ensure high quality software deployments.

Individuals in this role will collaboratively work with all members of the clearing development and support teams.
Role
• Responsible for the support and coordination of the deployment of software releases; providing lead and backup support on a rotational basis
• Participate in review of design, revisions, changes, testing, and documentation related to product enhancements
• Coordinates with the Quality Engineering Testing support team, providing support during user acceptance testing
• Perform code reviews in collaboration with system designers and developers to ensure quality; offering feedback and alternative solutions as needed
• May manage smaller project/initiatives as an experienced individual contributor with specialized knowledge within assigned discipline
• Update documentation as required
• Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency
• Contribute to our ongoing quality improvement activities
All About You
• At least four year degree in a related field (or certifications and comparable experience)
• Experience with COBOL, Database (DB2), Job Control Language (JCL)
• Analytical/problem solving and planning skills and the ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize work based on current business needs.
• Possess strong communication skills -- both verbal and written – and strong relationship, collaborative skills, and customer service skills
• Good troubleshooting and issue resolution skills; experience in coming up with new solutions and thinking “outside of the box”
• Able to work as a member of a diverse and geographically distributed project team.
