Position Overview:


We are seeking a Product Manager with experience in Finance Applications to join the Finance Product Management Group within the Growth Experience Technology (GET) IT organization. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Finance Product Management, you will be part of a high-energy team dedicated to transforming how key functions derive insights, access, and use data to drive impactful business outcomes. We are making significant investments in Cloud-Based Finance Toolsets, AI and ML, Big Data, and Enterprise Data Management.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the finance domain, including revenue and project accounting, budgeting, and planning processes. Additionally, experience working with engineering teams to develop feature functionality for key finance, accounting, and executive stakeholders across the organization is essential.

Responsibilities:


  • Drive the vision and strategy for your assigned product group within Core Finance Product Management to further company goals and objectives


  • Assist Group & Senior Product Managers in defining and publishing rolling 12-month roadmaps for your product group, prioritizing the most impactful problems for Autodesk


  • Develop and define comprehensive Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and success metrics


  • Assist in defining Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), including measurement methodology, baselines, and quarterly targets, supported by a high-confidence roadmap to achieve committed business impact


  • Lead through uncertainty by proactively anticipating and mitigating risks, managing partners, and guiding the team towards the stated vision


  • Ensure strategic partnership and understanding through regular interlocks, 1:1s, and stakeholder management best practices


  • Coordinate with architects, development teams, business owners, and business architects to identify needs and provide feedback to engineering teams


  • Apply Agile techniques to guide product backlog refinement and management to deliver consistent business value.


  • Foster a cooperative environment, emphasizing open discussion and problem-solving.


  • Facilitate meetings (e.g., backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning, and sprint retrospectives), adapting processes as required to maximize team success


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Background in finance applications and experience with RAR, SAP and ERP implementations for SaaS companies


  • Knowledge of Agile tools (e.g., JIRA) for quantitative/qualitative decision making


  • 8+ years of experience in product management


  • 5+ years of experience in delivering roadmaps in the finance software applications space


  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information simply and persuasively to a variety of audiences (internal, external, business, and technical)
