The position


As a Senior Product Manager you will be reporting to the Head of Marketing of the Obesity Business Unit. Our team is driven by the values of support, growth, and innovation, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and making a positive impact. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Ensure the growth of Novo Nordisk Obesity portfolio by developing strategic marketing and promotional plans.
  • Drive the implementation and success of strategic plans through innovative tactics and meticulous execution.
  • Establish strong synergy and coordination with Sales, Commercial, and Medical teams to ensure effective execution of plans.
  • Lead market research and integrate external feedback to continuously improve brand equity, awareness, and reputation.
  • Develop campaigns utilizing an omni-channel approach, continuously optimizing the customer journey.
  • Identify new business and product opportunities.
  • Drive event management and execution.
  • Work according to Business Ethic procedures, local law, Novo Nordisk Way, policies, and guidelines.

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:


  • Graduate in Life Sciences, Business or Marketing or equivalent and MBA degree in Business / Marketing from Premier B School.
  • Total experience of 7+ years commercial experience preferably from life sciences, FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) or other highly regulated industries.
  • Product launch, brand management and strategy execution experience.
  • Ability to generate customer research, analyse data and derive actionable insights.
  • Experience in developing and executing campaigns across offline and online channels.
  • Ability to evaluate the return of investment of marketing tactics.
  • Strong event and congress management skills.
  • Agency management experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including report writing, creating and delivering presentations and ability to tailor content, delivery and design for a specific audience as appropriate.
  • Broader functional experience in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. customer excellence, business planning, sales training).
