About the Role:

As a Product Manager on Motive's Workforce Management (WFM) team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how fleets manage their workforce. Reporting to the Director of Product for Workforce Management, you will own key aspects of the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for features like time management, driver qualifications, and training. This role will also involve go-to-market aspects of pricing, packaging, and bundling WFM with Motive's core fleet products, helping to create a seamless and integrated platform experience for our customers.

This role is ideal for a driven and strategic product manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and is passionate about building user-centric solutions. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Marketing to deliver innovative solutions that help our customers improve workforce productivity, streamline compliance, and reduce operational risk. Your contributions will directly impact Motive’s ability to expand into new markets, increase revenue, and maintain its leadership in the physical economy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Define and drive product strategies and roadmaps, balancing customer needs, market opportunities, and technical feasibility to deliver impactful outcomes.
  • Engage directly with customers across diverse verticals to gather feedback, uncover pain points, and synthesize actionable insights, distinguishing generalizable needs from specific requests.
  • Create and maintain detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), working closely with engineering teams to scope and prioritize features while navigating technical trade-offs and business implications.
  • Partner with Engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and business objectives.
  • Leverage market trends, competitive analysis, and product performance metrics to inform data-driven decisions and drive continuous product improvement.
  • Collaborate with GTM teams to craft compelling product positioning, execute go-to-market strategies, and support sales enablement efforts with impactful resources and insights.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5-6+ years of product management experience in enterprise or B2B SaaS environments, with a focus on delivering impactful results.
  • Proven success in launching and scaling products in fast-paced, dynamic settings, demonstrating adaptability and strategic execution.
  • Strong technical acumen, with a history of building usable and scalable products through effective collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong cross-functional relationships and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Data-driven mindset, paired with strong product intuition and a deep sense of user empathy to guide decision-making and prioritization.
  • Experience working closely with GTM teams, as well as engaging directly with customers to gather insights, validate concepts, and drive product-market fit.
  • Educational background in a technical or business-related field (Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred).

Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace is one of Motive's core values. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives.
