The Asset & Wealth Management KYC Product Team collaborates with Operations, Technology, and Business leadership to promote global process consistency and standards. We aim to enhance the organization's capabilities, creating agile processes, teams, and infrastructure for superior client experiences. We use a data-informed approach to identify opportunities and design effective, scalable solutions. Job Summary


As a Senior Product Associate (KYC) on the KYC Product team, you will act on behalf of the business, operations, and our clients to enhance workstreams supporting the KYC process. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to analyzing workflow processes, evaluating viable process alternatives, and developing business requirements and functional requirements for the resulting solution. You will also support and participate in design, development, testing, and implementation of requirements throughout their lifecycle to ensure quality and on-time delivery.


Job responsibilities:


  • Drive daily execution of the product priorities and analyze existing processes and systems and engage appropriate product teams to make recommendations for improvements
  • Embody true “client-obsession” in identifying and leveraging user data, behavioral analytics, and key performance metrics, industry trends, and varying forms of customer and advisor feedback to craft designs and build the product roadmap
  • Invest in a deep understanding of the business opportunity and participates in user research to understand which initiatives and features to pursue
  • Gather requirements & write stories through interaction with stakeholders in order to write user stories and specify acceptance criteria
  • Understand product priorities and align backlog of work for developing value in increments, as well as manage prioritization of your product backlog, and present reports on progress as well as required decisions, issues and solutions/path to green
  • Participate in product planning with the Product Owner and area sprint planning
  • Drive X-LOB and stakeholder partnership for area product and develop and maintain deep relationships with delivery partners including senior leaders in the Business, Technology, Design, Operations, Servicing, Digital and Control functions.
  • Work closely with the development and testing teams to ensure the design is feasible, user stories accurately reflect the business need, test plans and scripts are complete, and the product is of high quality
  • Coordinate operational readiness across various teams to ensure proper communication, training, and procedural updates

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: 


  • BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working on medium to large technology projects
  • Experience working with an Agile team to gather business requirements, perform detailed analysis, and document user stories; as well as experience working with technology development teams during build and implementation phases
  • Familiarity with KYC regulations and processes 
  • Proficient with Microsoft products including; Word, Excel, Access, Project, Visio and/or Change Mobilization Toolset: Signavio, Alteryx, Xceptor
  • Proficient in Jira and Confluence

  • Experience in wealth management, digital banking, or a closely related business working on strategic or transformational change.
  • Strong analytical skills, preferably with experience in writing business and functional system requirements
  • The ability to manage expectations by establishing and meeting clear timelines, deliverables and milestones
  • Utilization of data and user research to evaluate recommended solution
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal partners through verbal and written channels
  • Ability to work well in fast paced/multi-tasking environment; be able to easily adapt to changes and adjust strategies as needed
  • Strong time management skills; efficient and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time that also meet established high standards
