Senior Principal Engineer - IT Quality & Assurance Testing

Principal Engineer – IT Quality Assurance & testing

We will count on you to:

• Understand Business requirements and identify scenarios for Automated and Manual testing
• Design Automation test scripts ensuring proper coverage of regression
• Understanding API test resources, requirements and scripting
• Setup an Automation test framework
• Execution and maintenance of test scripts (Manual and Automated) and reporting results
• Investigate technical problems, needs and determine possible solutions  
• Document test results, defect logs and issue logs wherever possible
• Participate in development of technical documentation where possible
• Status reporting to the Delivery Lead and Reporting Manager
• Communicate effectively with team members and stake holders of the project delivery team
• Work with Test Leads to improve ROI of overall automated and functional tests
• To own MercerTech initiatives along with Quality Engineering Leads
• Drive Agile Continuous improvement initiatives with Delivery Leads

What you need to have:  

• 8+ years’ experience in the IT industry. Demonstrable experience of working on successful test programs on enterprise scale applications or projects
• Experience of working in scrum teams within SAFe delivery framework will be preferred
• Experience of working in Agile POD, Squad model and In-Sprint Automation
• End to end experience of the project lifecycle and experience of RAD/Agile
• Demonstrable experience of working in Programs on enterprise scale applications or projects

Technical Skillset required:

• Experience in UI and API test automation
• Experience of automating Desktop Applications will be preferable
• BDD Experience with SpecFlow
• Proficiency in Java Script and Core Java
• Experience with LoadRunner will be a plus
• Specific experience with the following:
• Experience of using AzureDevOps for End-to-End Test delivery
• Repository, CI/CD Pipeline management experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• TestComplete or UFT automation tool knowledge will be preferable
