Senior Principal Engineer -Digital Visualization & Data Analytics Development

Role & Responsibility:

• Partner with Leaders, Partners, data engineers and scientists to understand the potential value of data sets, the most relevant presentation of the data, and the interactions required to explore the insights from the data
• Create and manage data flows, DataMart’s, semantic models, reports, dashboards, and apps using Power BI service
• Optimize and enhance existing Power BI solutions to improve performance, usability, and data accuracy, leveraging advanced techniques such as query folding and data partitioning.
• Implement security features such as row-level security (RLS) and object-level security (OLS) to ensure data access and protection.
• Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, tailoring the message to the audience's level of understanding, and influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
• Document and maintain the Power BI architecture and design artifacts.
• Research and evaluate new Power BI features and capabilities and provide recommendations for improvement
• Outstanding written, verbal , and presentation skills with the ability to develop and present conclusions and recommendation to senior executives

What you need to have:

• 7+ years of data visualization engineering experience in tier 1 or 2 IT services companies or Tier 1 captives
• Extensive Power BI experience, on both Desktop and Power BI Service .
• Expert in Dax, M and SQL Server
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Analysis Services
• Lead and mentor a team of Junior BI developers, providing technical guidance, support, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Proven ability to lead a team of Power BI developers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Statistics, or related disciplines.
