The ideal candidate must have not more than 3-7 years of relevant experience in strategic and operational planning. Areas like material planning, scheduling shop floor, plant loading maintenance of optimal inventory targets & utilizing the available resources & productivity improvements will be a few of the key metrics of measurements.

Operational Planning:


  • Single point contact for delivery plan for Sales & PD for RM availability
  • Helping production team by scheduling
  • Coordinate the development of annual operating plans and budgets.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational performance against targets.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend operational efficiencies
  • Exposure to one or more tool, ability to develop detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) and implement critical path analysis when required

Forecasting and Analysis:


  • Conduct data analysis and forecasting to support planning activities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders related to capacity enhancements well in advance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the organization
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in project schedules and resource planning. This helps in maintaining project timelines and budget adherence.

 Risk Management:


  • Assess risks associated with strategic and operational plans.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plan

Collaboration and Communication:


  • Work closely with departments across the organization to align planning efforts.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather input and drive consensus.
  • Communicate plans, goals, and progress to stakeholders at all levels.

Compliance and Governance:


  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements like ISO, EHS and internal policies.
  • Uphold governance standards related to planning and reporting.

The candidate must have


  • Not more than 3-7years of relevant experience in the role of a planner
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical stream
  • Understanding of engineering principles and concepts relevant to the industrial practice This includes familiarity with project management methodologies and scheduling techniques. He / She should have hands on expertise in using ERP’s in PP module in depth & in depth knowledge on TPS or Lean concepts
  • Aptitude for solving complex problems related to project scheduling, resource allocation, and timeline management. This includes proactive identification of issues and development of mitigation strategies. He/she should be having hands on knowledge on Lean concepts & methodology
