The Role


As a Piping Engineer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.


  • Ensure compliance with various ASME, API & IBR codes and standards.
  • Perform Pipe Stress analysis (Static & Dynamic) of Critical Piping Systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code Requirements, using CAESAR II software.
  • Knowledge of Stress Analysis for Compressor, Pumps, Air coolers piping system is preferred.
  • Perform flange leakage checks, blast analysis, transit analysis, slug checks, wind and seismic analysis, AIV & FIV checks.
  • Design and selection of pipe supports, springs hangers & Expansion joints.
  • Assign criticality rating based on pipe stress design basis and prepare critical line list.
  • Perform isometrics checking for critical and non-critical lines using Review model and ensure support types selected in line with stress requirements.
  • Coordinate with Civil/Structural & Mechanical groups to ensure loads are being effectively communicated.
  • Perform reinforcement evaluation at pipe supports and branch connections.
  • Prepare project piping support specification & Design Basis.
  • Evaluate Stress, Displacement, Forces and moments on restraints for support design and Evaluate piping loads with in allowable nozzle loads.
  • Review of vendor documents of equipment for conforming Nozzle Forces and Moments and Fixed and Sliding Support.
  • Fully conversant with Anchor study requirements.
  • Perform Procurement Engineering within stipulated time frame of the project. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, third party consultants, etc. to ensure timely review of documents and that comments are made with required quality level.

About You


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • Minimum 5 - 12 years experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry with specific experience on piping stress analysis for Offshore Oil and Gas facilities Wellhead platforms, Fixed Process Platforms, FPSO topsides modules & Turret Mooring System.
  • Should be an effective Team player, capable of working with Multi-National Clients and possess Good communication skill
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
