The Opportunity:
As ApplyBoard continues to scale, we are looking for a passionate Senior Talent Acquisition Partner who provides expertise through partnering with hiring teams, sourcing, and selection of quality candidates from internal and external talent pools.
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Talent Acquisition, you will be a key player in our dynamic team, collaborating closely with Business Leaders, HR Business Partners, and the Operations Team to drive our people strategy forward. We are seeking an experienced, innovative, and creative Senior Specialist in Talent Acquisition to help us scale our sales teams globally.
Location: Gurugram Office (2-3 times a week) with flexibility to work from home.
Time zones: As Senior Talent Acquisition Partner in India, your input is vital and will be necessary on Global HR calls that align to Eastern Standard Time.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Partner with Hiring Managers to deliver end-to-end recruitment services, from crafting sourcing strategies and creating impactful job postings to conducting interviews and advising on compensation packages.
- Workday ATS Management: Utilize Workday ATS to track and report transparent recruiting metrics, enabling data-driven hiring decisions and process improvements.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies across India to support talent acquisition efforts and expand the candidate pool.
- Talent Sourcing: Leverage innovative sourcing techniques, including networking, job boards, social media, digital media, career fairs, and meetups, to identify top candidates and develop future talent pipelines.
- Pipeline Management: Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to manage hiring pipelines, identify gaps, and provide coaching and guidance to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
- Reference & Background Checks: Conduct thorough reference and background checks, ensuring candidates meet ApplyBoard’s standards and presenting employment offers.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HRBPs and HR Ops teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of recruitment processes.
- Best Practices Sharing: Share best practices, challenges, and success stories within the Talent Acquisition team to continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes.
- Data-Driven Insights: Contribute to strategic insights by providing data-driven recruitment metrics to assist Hiring Managers in making informed and timely hiring decisions.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in ongoing learning and development, ensuring that recruitment methods and practices stay current with industry trends and best practices.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years of talent acquisition experience, working in fast-paced environments.
- 4+ years of experience in hiring non-technical roles, specifically sales roles such as Partner Sales, Sales Managers, and Business Development Managers etc.
- Expertise in advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and cold outreach, to engage top talent.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday experience strongly preferred) to streamline recruitment processes and manage pipelines effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage candidates and stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple recruitment processes in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset with a positive attitude, and the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- EdTech industry experience or familiarity with education technology recruitment is an asset.
- Flexibility to work across IST and EST time zones to support global recruitment efforts.
