Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
A Partner Success Solution Architect (PSSA) in AWS India is a specific type of SA that drives scale and accelerates customer outcomes through partner-delivered AWS best practices and solutions. Combining business acumen with technical skills, you will seek to understand customer needs and industry trends to build technical strategies and initiatives that address these repeatably through partners. This includes over 200 AWS services and hundreds more partner solutions across Data, Analytics, Applications, Development, Internet of Things, Machine Learning and others.
This position is part of our Partner Success team in AWS India. You will make an impact by supporting a set of strategic systems integrator partners to deliver best-practice solutions leveraging AWS technology. This involves supporting partner opportunities and the creation of reference architectures, patterns and proposal templates that delight customers, accelerate wins and set the partner up to repeat and scale these offerings.
Key job responsibilities
• Serve as a key technical member of the AISPL Partner Solutions Architecture team in helping to ensure customer success through partners in India.
• Help AWS partners build, package and deliver best practice solutions that deliver successful customer outcomes.
• Scope each engagement, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
• Own technical engagements, and help ensure a timely and successful delivery of value (delivery of actual solutions to be done by AWS partners).
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the solution architect community.
• Understand the AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals in India.
• Understand and exploit internal Amazon systems.

- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
