SENIOR OPERATIONS ENGINEER

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AWS, Azure, Linux, and Windows operating systems with 10+ years of experience.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Jenkins and manage version control with GIT/GITHUB.
• Troubleshoot and work with Cloud Networking and Infrastructure Services.
• Develop and implement patching, automation, and tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Work with Data Centre Technologies, including Solutioning, Onboarding-Migration, and Configuration Management using tools such as Ansible or Chef.
• Apply DevOps principles and use programming or scripting languages such as Python or Java.
• Hold certifications in 2 or more Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and ITIL certification.
• Apply Service Management, Governance, and ITIL principles.
• Implement Project Governance, including Quality Assurance, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).

Required Skills and Experience

• AWS, Azure, Linux & Windows operating systems
• Managing cloud and implementing Infrastructure as Code
• Good understanding on Data Center Technologies
• Knowledge of Cloud Networking & Devops principles
• Client interaction experience at lead level
• Certifications in Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) and ITIL.
