Position Summary


We are seeking a skilled and experienced AirWatch and Intune MDM Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our mobile device management (MDM) infrastructure, ensuring the security and efficiency of mobile devices across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of both VMware AirWatch and Microsoft Intune platforms.


Key Responsibilities


  • MDM Administration: Manage and maintain the AirWatch and Intune MDM environments, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.


  • Device Management: Oversee the enrollment, configuration, and management of mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows) to ensure compliance with company policies and security standards.


  • Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce MDM policies, profiles, and compliance rules to secure mobile devices and data.


  • Application Management: Deploy and manage mobile applications through AirWatch and Intune, ensuring seamless updates and security patches.


  • User Support: Provide technical support to end-users for MDM-related issues, including device setup, application installation, and troubleshooting.


  • Security Monitoring: Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities related to mobile devices, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.


  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for MDM configurations, policies, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT, security, and compliance teams to align MDM strategies with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.


  • Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users and IT staff on MDM best practices and new features.



Qualifications & Experience


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mobile device management, with a focus on AirWatch and Intune.


  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) in AirWatch, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar are preferred.


  • Technical Skills:


    • Proficiency in VMware AirWatch and Microsoft Intune MDM platforms.


    • Strong understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows).


    • Experience with device enrollment, configuration, and policy management.


    • Knowledge of mobile security best practices and compliance standards.


    • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.


  • Soft Skills:


    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
