Job Description
Responsibilities:
Direct Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and Terraform scripts to automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments.
- Work on containerization of legacy applications.
- Assist and train other ops profiles on Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
Team Responsibilities:
- Provisioning, Configuration, Deployment, and Disaster Recovery (DR).
Technical Skills:
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Linux platform and Command Line Interface (CLI).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python and/or Bash preferred).
- Good understanding of Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins, Travis, Concourse, etc.).
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Ansible and Docker for at least 2+ years.
- Understanding of middleware technologies and their configurations.
- Knowledge of middleware tools such as WebSphere, JBoss, or similar.
Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in IT Operations or Software Engineering.
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with middleware administration and cloud environments.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Monitor and maintain the performance of middleware systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support middleware-related initiatives.
- Ensure the integrity and security of middleware environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve middleware-related issues.
- Implement middleware configurations and upgrades.
- Automate middleware provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Ansible and Terraform.
- Provide training and support to other team members on middleware technologies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux Automation with Ansible (RH294).
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Optional: HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (003).
- Optional: HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate (002).

- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team.
