We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Middle Office Oversight Manager – Global SME Change


Principal responsibilities


  • Maintain a Global Middle Office Oversight model, in France.
  • Supporting Global Head of Middle Office Oversight, implementing and executing policies, controls, and governance frameworks in line with compliance and regulatory expectations across regions.
  • Hand over and enhance a Global change model with outsourced Middle Office provider.
  • Work closely with the Global Head of Middle Office oversight and multiple Heads of MO Oversight teams across the business to identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements.
  • Managing the Middle Office Oversight Global Change model and governance; Ensure that key changes (policies and standards) are communicated and cascaded in all regions; Being a lead on change, via operational and service benchmarking/market best practice.
  • Managing and coordinating with the Global Head of Middle Office Oversight, the process of vendor’s / service provider’s contracts renewals.
  • Provide support and analysis for key global and regional initiatives; Ensure Business Continuity Plans are in place across all regions and regularly reviewed; Build strong relationships with service provider Change teams and Client Service team and dedicated contact.
  • Actively support the AMG Global Head of Middle Office Oversight on Global oversight model ; Engage and build strong relationship with key stakeholders, location Heads of MO, Global SME’s, Global Ops ; Excellent knowledge, and experience of working with/within Middle Office servicing within an asset manager.
  • Strong understanding of risks and controls inherent within an outsourced model and how to mitigate them; Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to work closely and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.; Proven experience in managing relationships with internal teams in an asset management environment.
  • Knowledge of regulations impacting middle office processes within Asset Management industry; Good analytical and problem-solving skills to support the escalation of issues and suggestions of appropriate solutions. Strong functional knowledge of the Middle Office Operations area within asset management in a global multi-jurisdiction context.
  • Adaptable and can thrive in a diverse work environment; Ensure monitoring of regulatory, market and organizational developments that impact AMG and State Street; Ensure post programme change day1.5/Day2 delivery.
  • Monitor progress of planned changes to product and services (including enhancement and launch of new features).; Ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.; Ensure to be the first point of escalation for Global Change issue.
