Job Title: Senior MEPF Manager - Large Mixed-Use Development Project

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection) Manager to oversee all aspects of MEPF systems for our large-scale mixed-use development project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing MEPF design, coordination during execution, and testing and commissioning (T&C) phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all MEPF aspects of the mixed-use development project, from conceptual design through construction and commissioning.
Oversee the design, coordination, and integration of MEPF systems, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
Manage a team of MEPF professionals and coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Develop and implement MEPF strategies aligned with project goals, budget constraints, and sustainability targets.
Review and approve MEPF design documents, drawings, and specifications at various project stages.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of MEPF systems.
Oversee the execution phase, ensuring proper installation and coordination of MEPF systems on-site.
Manage the testing and commissioning process for all MEPF systems, ensuring they meet design intent and performance requirements.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures for MEPF works.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to MEPF systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for MEPF systems.
Implement innovative MEPF solutions to enhance energy efficiency, sustainability, and overall building performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Minimum 15 years of experience in MEPF management for large-scale construction projects, with a focus on mixed-use developments.
Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience across the entire MEPF gamut (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems).
Proven track record in managing MEPF design, coordination during execution, and testing and commissioning phases.
Strong understanding of building codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainability practices related to MEPF systems.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in MEPF design software, BIM, and project management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Professional Engineering (PE) license.
LEED AP or other relevant sustainability certifications.
Experience with energy modeling and performance simulation tools.
Familiarity with smart building technologies and integrated building management systems.
