Amazon Devices is looking for a dynamic leader to lead the marketing charter for offline & online channels. You would be brand custodian responsible for ensuring a high bar on customer experience at all touch points. You would partner with sales teams to create effective communication strategies to influence sell-out. You would partner with external field force team to deliver on last mile execution of marketing strategy.
Key job responsibilities
• Thought leader in developing strategy for customer acquisition & retention in offline & online channels.
• Partner with account teams to develop marketing strategy to influence delivery on sales targets.
• Partner with internal product & brand teams to develop marketing communication strategy in retail stores (general trade & large format retail stores).
• Partner with external field force teams (visual merchandisers & marketing coordinators) to deploy fixtures & point of sale material in retail stores.
• Develop & execute traffic shaping initiatives like paid search & merchandising on third party online channels (Quick Commerce & Flipkart).
• Partner with external marketing agencies to set customer facing KPIs, build mechanisms to track & audit, deliver against the goals.
• Revamp the training program for external field sales & account teams.
• Negotiate the channel marketing costs to bring y-o-y improvements within financial guardrails.
• Owns a voice-of-the-customer feedback mechanism to influence product roadmaps and address customer pain points.
• Has executive presence and represents customer voice in reviews with internal senior leaders and external leadership team of key accounts.
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience communicating results to stakeholders
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- 3+ years of offline channel marketing experience.
- 3+ years of digital marketing experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adept at managing both strategic and operational aspects of the role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including sales, business development, legal, finance and senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong bias for action.
- Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
- Proven track record of delivering marketing KPIs in offline & online channels.
- Strong domain knowledge of trade & digital marketing.
- Industry experience in FMCG or consumer electronics industry.
- MBA from tier 1 B school.
- Highly analytical, demonstrated ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment.
- Excellent communicator, with a track record of using writing to drive decisions and outcomes.
