Job Description

Amazon Pay is the fintech arm of Amazon. We are growing our offline payments operations in India. In this context, we are looking for an Marketing Manager who will help large offline organized retailers to grow their business with Amazon Pay.
As a Senior Marketing Manager for the Offline Acceptance business, you will be interfacing with National/Regional brands and retailers in India to enable acceptance through Amazon Pay and drive up transaction share of Amazon Pay Products at their physical stores. This role is a full stack marketing role which covers driving customer awareness about Amazon Pay Products, and working with merchants to nudge customers to pay via them when transacting in store. It will require creating XCM campaigns in collaboration with other Amazon teams, co-branding campaigns with partner brands both online, BTL, and in-store. Experience in fintech domain and/or growth marketing is preferred.
You must possess strong relationship-building skills and be able to create win-win opportunities with brands and other internal product marketing teams. The candidate should be able to drive up customer awareness about scan and pay with Amazon while shopping offline, create consideration for Amazon Pay Products, and help merchants understand the opportunity with Amazon Pay to grow their business. S/he should be comfortable with balancing multiple priorities, working with internal and external partners, as well as strategically analyzing data to inform decisions. To be successful in this role one should have superior communication, presentation, and organizational skills. This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever changing business climate.
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving up share of Amazon Pay with customers shopping offline. You must be an effective communicator and negotiator. You have strong business judgment with a track record of strong ownership and relationship management skills. You will be responsible for the following:
• Drive Amazon Pay Product adoption with customers shopping offline
• Work with brands/merchants/decision makers within the stores/brands to create customer nudges.
• Own and cultivate business relationship with key partners/stores with a long term vision to make the Amazon Pay as their preferred choice for accepting digital payments.
• Develop strategic account plans with eye toward identifying creative, business-generating initiatives
• Forecast and report business growth and other key metrics, including tracking actual progress toward forecasts
• Prepare and give business reviews to senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to drive business growth.
- 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- Experience communicating results to stakeholders
- Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
- BTL marketing in offline retail
