What you’ll do
  • Manage and lead cybersecurity projects and programs from initiation to completion 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables 
  • Responsible for defining project plans, controlling project budgets and managing risks to ensure successful delivery of security projects 
  • Develop a security portfolio workstream plan that includes milestones, tasks and activities 
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets 
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies 
  • Assist with engagement management, including customer communication and issue escalation 
  • Coordinate financial approvals and budget tracking 
  • Produce relevant, timely, stakeholder appropriate reports  
  • Work closely with 3rd party vendors and manage vendor relationships 
  • Oversee transition into BAU ensure compliance with security standards 
  • Conduct full life-cycle monitoring and management of cybersecurity initiatives 
  • Collaborate with various teams and organizations to achieve project goals 
  • Respond to compliance requests related to security assessments 


Who you are
Essential 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in programme or project management 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams  
Desirable 
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) or willingness to learn 
  • Relevant certifications in project management  
  • Experience managing transformation projects

What's in it for you

The Security project Manager will lead and be responsible for the Security Project of work as defined by the business. This is a standalone position with no line management; however, this role relies heavily on building working relationships with IT and business colleagues, third parties and external stakeholders and a collaborative working style is essential. Working with a range of stakeholders across the business, this role will ensure the successful delivery of security programme workstreams from inception to productive embedding into BAU. This role operates in a highly complex environment across Europe and will be expected to work at pace.
