ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:-
Key responsibilities
• To handle day to day managerial responsibilities for overall operational work across the region with driving excellence, process, and implementation of operational compliances as per customer needs/ SOP/ policies & procedures of the company or Government.
• To deliver significant change management solutions, and ongoing cultural change in zonal operation Team.
• Succession planning & Team building management with leadership in regional team.
• To monitor/ drive and achieve the zonal revenue, cost target, KPI’s and SLA as per the agreed understanding with customers.
• Budget/ Debt Control management of the Zone and be responsible for customer accounts of the Zone.
• To maintain segment standards on profit margins & discount guidelines and meet out the profit targets/ on-time submission of MIS on monthly basis.
• To review key customers, supply chain needs and identify where DSC can best apply value with operations simulation models for major new business opportunities
• Implement/ support business vision, strategic business activities, development of business plans for DSC and work on the road map for implementation.
• Leading MBR (Monthly Business review) /QBR (Quarterly Business review) with customers in the zone.
• Work with Business Development Team and Solution Team to support the business development activity and establish relationships with key decision makers and influencers in target accounts.
• Responsible for inventory management in the zone without revenue leakages.
• Collaborate with the other functions and business’s for achieving common targets of the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
• Graduate or MBA in Operations/ Supply-chain management, with deep understanding of the Contract Logistics Business
• Minimum 15+ years of industry experience with at least 5 years in Managerial position with Contract Logistics industry
• Rich Exposure in Operations, Implementation in warehousing and logistics industry
• Ability to work under advanced IT environment/Tech savvy
• Should have handled P&L responsibility.
• Proactive approach and problem-solving skills Relevant knowledge of service solutions across the logistic value chain
• Possess excellent communication, team management & interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership capability with the ability to ensure Operational targets and budgets are achieved by the Operations team.
• Good interpersonal skills, excellent team building capabilities, planning, co-ordination, and decision-making skills
• Demonstration of strong planning skills essential and good project management skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively work with/coach senior leadership.
