Position Overview:
Boeing Defense India team is currently looking for Sr. Manager -Supply Chain Management ( Boeing Defense India) to join their team in New Delhi, India.
As the Supply Chain manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain management for Boeing defense programs in India. This includes managing in-country procurement, asset management, and execution teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain management for Boeing defense programs in India.
Oversee in-country procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
Manage asset management processes, including inventory control, maintenance, and disposal.
Provide leadership and guidance to the execution teams, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of products and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies and initiatives.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the supply chain function.
Create strong relationships and collaborate with other Boeing company supply chain teams in delivery of supply chain outcomes for Boeing Defense India.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION with 15 + years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and processes.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with procurement processes and regulations in India.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficiency in relevant supply chain management software and tools.
5+ years of experience in project management including interfacing with suppliers, partnerships, and/or customers
5+ years of experience leading teams and/or leading initiatives
Fluent in English
Must be willing and able to travel domestically/internationally up to 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the defense industry.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master+ 15 years' related work experience.
